The "E Coaching" Process

“E Coaching” is our own (GMS Talent L P) brand for our coaching process. The “E” in “E Coaching” is for Executive. The root of the word, Executive, is execute. Webster’s defines execute as a verb meaning: 1) to carry out fully or put completely into effect: 2) to produce by carrying out a design, or: 3) to do what is needed to establish validity.

An Executive is one who has managerial or administrative responsibility to achieve 1, 2, or 3 above. An Executive can be a middle manager responsible for sales, or a CEO responsible for profit. Regardless of whether you are a Sales Manager or CEO the “E Coaching” process applies.

Having served as founder and CEO of an organization that grew from a dream to a 375 employee organization, I have served in just about every role you could possibly imagine. I have coached and mentored my own people and others from companies ranging is size from four-hundred million down to five million. In all those experiences one thing became clear; to expect consistent results from coaching there needs to be a formal process. “E Coaching” is our process for addressing the needs of executives at all levels for all sizes of organizations.

The “E Coaching” process consists of seven phases:

Evaluating the current you
Understanding your current environment
Clarifying where you want to go and why you want to go there
Discovering your strengths and weaknesses
Charting a course to arrive at your destination
Measuring progress and being accountable
Celebrating Achievement

The “E Coaching” certified coach is experienced at the executive level, trained and the highest level, and focused on you. Your commitment is for a 16 week program. You and your coach will meet for one hour each week of the 16 week program to work on you. Upon completion of the 16 week program you may want to continue for another 4 or 8 weeks but it is not required.
